A Love for Story

no. one

A quiet eye, drawn to meaning.

I’m Dayoung — a photographer and lifelong noticer. What moves me isn’t just the grandeur of a wedding day, but the hidden reverie beneath it. The small, often overlooked gestures that speak in metaphor: a pair of glasses left on a folded newspaper, the last trace of steam from a finished coffee, the train of a dress catching petals like blessings.

These are more than details. They’re fragments of feeling — moments that echo with the weight of a life, a love, a promise. Photography, for me, is a way of listening to the world. I follow sentiment the way others follow light. The story reveals itself not in spectacle, but in nuance — in breath, gesture, stillness.

Poetry of the Day

The candles illuminating like a soul.

The hands holding between chairs.

The laughter in the air.

The sweet quiet scent of flowers.

Rainstone is for those who feel deeply.

Rainstone isn’t about luxury. It’s about what lingers after—the memory in the light, the quiet after the vow. If you feel more than you say, you’re in the right place. My work isn’t about quantifying luxury. It’s about honouring what endures: the meaning behind the moment, the quiet after the vow, the memory that lasts longer than confetti.
